New Green Seal Product Line To Minimize Impact On
Workers & Environment
(Johnstown, NY) - Spray Nine®
Corporation announced today its
membership status with
Hospitals for a Healthy Environment (h1E).
According to Elizabeth Bridge, Spray Nine’s Director of Strategic
Development, h1E is a cooperative effort between the EPA, American
Hospitals Association, Health Care Without Harm, and the American
Nurses Association. h1E's mission is to minimize health care's impact
on the environment and human health. Members commit to sustained green
practices for environment, health and cost savings. Participants
include facilities, workers, vendors and trade associations. Goals
include:

Reduction of the quantity and toxicity of health care waste – from
manufacturing, purchase and use of products and materials, to improved
end-of-life management.

Minimization of use and exposure to hazardous chemicals, including
persistent, bio-accumulative and toxic (PBT) substances.

Reducing health care’s environmental footprint through resource
conservation and other measurable environmental improvements.

because Adirondack Green, our line of Green Seal (GS-37)
cleaners, is a natural fit for hospitals looking to green their
cleaning and improve the quality of indoor air. Each product carries
on the Spray Nine tradition of
heavy-duty performance and economy. For example, many green cleaners
perform at dilutions ranging from 8:1 – 10:1. Our Adirondack Green
All-Purpose Cleaner, at a dilution of 16:1, matched a competitive
benchmark that uses twice as much product (8:1). This represents

The Adirondack Green
line consists of three products, each available
in 4 x 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 55 gallon containers. The products are:
All-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser,
Multi-Surface Bathroom Cleaner, and
Glass Cleaner.
