Green Cleaning Regulations

Federal, State, County and City laws are beginning to mandate that green cleaning products are either used exclusively (as in the case of New York State & Illinois schools) or given heavy preference - a practice known as environmentally preferable purchasing (EPP).

The goal is to reduce the effects of cleaning on human health and the environment by using products with third party green certification, such as Green Seal’s GS-37 standard.
